The solar panel itself is a 4W Polycrystalline (Taiwan Neo) panel, with a lifespan up to 25 years, and a powerful Lithium Ion 18650 3000mAh battery with a lifespan up to 8 years, this light is built to last! When darkness falls the Alerta will light up automatically at 70 lumens, and then light to a staggering 1000 lumens when motion is detected within a 10 metre range, returning back to 70 lumens after 20 to 30 seconds of no more movement detection.
Easy to operate, to turn on, hold down the rubber button on the side of the fitting until the light turns on (approx 3 seconds), the same one button operation will switch between the colours, simply press the button quickly to choose bright or warm white.
Please note, the light has to be switched 'on' to begin charging, when your light arrives it will be turned 'off'.
