Anglepoise Original 1227 clip on table lamp black
Universally usable Original 1227 Mini LED table lamp with a table clamp The original product, the Anglepoise® work light, whose constant tension spring mechanism is also used in the 1227 Mini LED table lamp, was developed in around 1930 by the English automotive engineer George Carwardine. In 1932, he patented the variably adjustable light. Later, he sold the licence to the company Terry & Sons, the company from which he had previous purchased the springs for his light source. Just like this first light, the Original 1227 Mini table lamp captivates people with a flexibility that is rooted in the fact that the lampshade is attached to a long arm which has two joints. This means that the light can be adjusted in a variety of ways. The balance is maintained by springs which are attached on both sides of the lower joint of the arm and work according to the principle of human arm muscles. They work by action and reaction and ensure that the lamp remains in equilibrium. Please note: the weight of the light bulb used should be between 25 g and 45 g to preserve the light’s balance. - Max. wattage of the LED bulb to be used: 6 W LED The practical table clamp has a colour that matches the design of the light and is included. The allows the table lamp to be attached to a tabletop or to a shelf with a maximum thickness of 6 cm. Energy efficiency class:A+
