The artistic borrowing of the world-renowned painting ‘The Kiss’, from the Art Nouveau painter Gustav Klimt, cannot be missed in the design of the Leona Kiss model. Kolarz shows the complete slick perfection of its craft here – the characteristic colours and shapes of the painting were reflected in the three-dimensional object of a hanging light with perfect proportions and a classic spherical shape. The hand-painted decoration partially consisting of 24 carat gold plating on the light reflects the finesse, not only of Klimt but also of the designers at Kolarz, and was made entirely in the EU.
