In the case of this designer product, a number of wooden slats (6.5 mm plywood with a 1.5 mm thick wood coating) produce a kind of cage around a small handblown satin-finished glass sphere. Equipped with a 60 W G9 light bulb, Diva shines from the inside and produces a pleasant, warm effect due to the wooden frame.
