However, the lampshade with a slightly conical shape is not made from fabric; it is made entirely from plastic. With its black exterior and gold interior, it also produces a brilliant lighting effect which is intensified by the golden internal surface. The company Kartell, which is based near Milan, is known for its articles of daily use made of plastic which include furniture, kitchen utensils and lights. Since the 1950s, national and international designers have worked for Kartell.
