The relay is installed into the electrical socket and directly connected to the electrical cables. This means that the electrical device plugged into the power point can be integrated into the Blaupunkt system and conveniently controlled. Home automation rules can be programmed, such as automatic lights to be switched on when returning home, or electrical equipment to be individually and specifically controlled by app. It is possible to check whether the iron is actually turned off even from far away. The relay also works as a ZigBee Repeater which extends the range of all ZigBee devices. It has an additional electricity counter that can be used to monitor electricity consumption.
