Charnwood Island Three BLU Ecodesign Ready Wood Burning Stove
The new Charnwood Island III BLU wood burning stove is the largest in the Island range. This Island 3 stove is ready for the new EU emissions test for heating appliances that come in to force in 2022. The Island III BLU exceeds the new limits of the Lot 20 standard producing significantly less particulate emissions and lower levels of CO2 NOx and CO than older stoves and open fires. In addition, this stove is also Defra approved to burn wood in smoke control areas, thanks to Charnwood's Quattroflow air management system and cleanburn airwash technology. With it's clean lines and gentle curves the Island III sits well in any style room; be it modern or traditional. Delivering 8-16kW of heat it can take up to 550mm logs. With a rated output of 12kW the Island III is ideal for larger sized rooms. Additional room ventilation is required for this stove unless fitted with an external air kit, allowing the stove to draw the air directly from the outside. The Island is available with a choice of leg and stand options.
