Copper coloured LED hanging light Equatore 23 8 cm
A reinterpretation of lampshade lights: the LED hanging light Equatore At first glance, the model Equatore looks like a classic hanging light with a glass lampshade. However, when you cast a glance inside it and examine its functioning, you will soon notice that the classic hanging light model has been reinterpreted with Equatore. In this lampshade light, the light source does not sit within the lampshade or diffuser, but at the bottom edge, where the copper band surrounds the hemispherical glass lampshade like the equator surrounds the earth. This is where the Italian name of the light comes from: Equatore. The light source, i.e. the LEDs, sits in the panel which closes off the lampshade at the bottom. This luminous panel emits light both upwards into the lampshade as well as downwards, e.g. onto a tabletop. The series of lights Equatore was designed by the Italians Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. The two architects live and work in Milan and are involved in projects from building architecture and landscape design to the design of furniture and other items for the home, e.g. lights. They designed the Equatore series for the lighting manufacturer Fontana Arte. Energy efficiency class:A+
