Delicate designer floor lamp Ilios black
Ilios - a graceful designer floor lamp with an integrated sliding dimmer The Munich-based lighting designer used the moon as his main model when he designed this delicate floor lamp in 1983. The circular lampshade of the light - if you can describe it as such - sits enthroned on a thin bridge between two delicate metal struts. Just like the moon acts as a point of orientation by night, the sphere made of white opal glass, behind which the light bulb can be found, is a luminous fixed point in complete darkness. In the centre of the solid steel base, the metal struts run together at a common point, only separated by a red fluorescent insulation wedge which perfects the symmetry of this light. Without a doubt, Ilios’ artistic component is unmistakeable in spite of its minimalism, making it into an instant eye-catcher. The floor lamp Ilios has a cord transformer with a slide control which can be used to adjust the brightness as you wish. Energy efficiency class:C
