Captivating hanging light GLOBO DI LUCE with a 20 cm diameter The hanging light GLOBO DI LUCE unites an impressive, expressive design with the functionality of a 40 watt PAR60 E14 socket light bulb. Its shape corresponds to that of a sphere, but a small section of the lampshade juts out at the bottom. The lampshade is entirely part of the the light fitting, and is revealed to be handblown glass by its external texture. The glass was treated in a silver colour in a complex production process, so that it looks like a metallic surface. This surface reflects and distorts the structure of the room, which has an interesting effect, especially by day. With a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 19 cm, the hanging light is relatively square, even if the spherical lampshade is anything but compact. As a symbol of individuality, productivity and design art, it impresses the beholder in practically any room. The designer Roberto Menghi designed this light fitting for the latest collection of the manufacturer Fontana Arte.
