Designer hanging light Kabuki green
Designer hanging light Kabuki with a lampshade which looks like lace The lampshade of the hanging light Kabuki is characterised by modern materials and production processes, on the one hand, and by its particular structure which is reminiscent of fine lace due to the many small gaps, on the other hand. Kabuki is made of thermoplastic technopolymer which is processed in an injection moulding process. The many little gaps in the lampshade produce an interesting play of light when the light is turned on. The Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviano has designed the Kabuki series of lights, amongst others, in his role as Art Director for the company Kartell. Kartell became known for furniture, lights and other articles of daily use made of plastic. Designer pieces, such as the children’s chair K 1340, the lemon squeezer KS1481 or the light 4032 Tic Tac, have been created on behalf of Kartell in the past decades and are now already amongst the classics of their kind.
