The German company attaches great importance to sustainability and therefore manufactures its lamps with the 3D printer and from materials that consist of recycled materials, e.g. wood or paper waste or PET bottles. In the case of the Diamant floor lamp, the biomaterial lignin was used, which was produced from wood waste and corn starch and is free of toxic substances and petroleum. The sustainable production of the lamps produces no waste, there are no emissions and the manufacturer uses green electricity for production. Tagwerk is a company that is using 3D printing for the first time for the mass production of everyday consumer goods.
