The lamp’s dimmability can be controlled without a problem using an external leading edge or trailing edge dimmer so that many different brightnesses can be made depending on needs and circumstances. But it is not only the technology that impresses immediately, the lamp’s looks do so as well. In order that the light can be optimally distributed and evenly emitted to the environment, a majority of the glass pane has a satin-finished appearance. A circumferential strip made of clear glass creates a beautiful light effect at the edge of the glass shade. The light spreads from the middle of the lamp towards the outside, where it hits the cut glass edge. The light gets caught in the glass edge’s rough surface and gives the lamp it’s final touch.
