Curling M LED hanging light with glass lampshade – designed by Da Costa & Wolf The lampshade of the Curling M LED hanging light stands as a completely clear glass cylinder. It boasts both elegance and functionality. The challenge for designers is always to combine aesthetics and functionality into a harmonious whole. Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf, the two designers of Curling, have certainly succeeded in this. The hand-blown glass lampshade of the hanging light is transparent but the COB LEDs do not glare thanks to the optical inset. Quite the opposite is true in fact; the light is distributed in all directions to create homogeneous general lighting. The LEDs are also dimmable using a leading or trailing edge dimmer (not included). The Curling hanging light can be used for many different purposes: be it in private homes or public buildings; as an individual light or in a series as part of an ensemble.
