The lighting manufacturer Terzani was founded by Italian glass designer Sergio Terzani back in 1972. Sergio Terzani befriended the French designer Jean-François Crochet in the mid-1980s and numerous light sculptures and accessories for the homes have been created as a result of this friendship.
