FRITZ HANSEN Kaiser Idell 6580 Luxus glossy black
Height adjustable design floor lamp Kaiser idell™ Luxury This floor lamp has enjoyed unbroken popularity since the year it was first released in 1931. Kaiser idell™ Luxus is made entirely of steel with chrome-plated brass elements and stylistically embodies the popular Bauhaus style. The Kaiser idell™ Luxus floor lamp was designed by Christian Dell (1893-1974). Christian Dell, born in Offenbach, first learned to be a silversmith in Hanau and then went to the Saxon School of Applied Arts in Weimar to study with Henry van de Velde. From 1922 to 1925 he was foreman of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar. From 1926 he developed lamps, often for the lamp factory Gebr. Kaiser & Co. After the Second World War, as in his early years, he produced silverware and ran a jewellery business in Wiesbaden. The floor lamp Kaiser idell™ brings with its asymmetrical shade with patented swivel joint the stylish Bauhaus design into the home and provides a cozy additional lighting, which can also be adjusted to the individual circumstances by the height adjustability of the joint and the easily rotatable shade. The floor lamp Kaiser idell™ is manufactured by the company FRITZ HANSEN from Denmark. The traditional company still bears the name of its founder Fritz Hansen, even if it was transferred to the Skandinavisk Holding to 75% in 1979 after more than 100 years in pure family ownership. FRITZ HANSEN stands for products by renowned designers such as Cecilie Manz, Bodil Kjær, Bruno Mathsson, Verner Panton, Arne Jacobsen and Kasper Salto.
