Design table lamp Night Owl™ with rotating shade This table lamp, e.g. on a sideboard, already appears as a decorative detail of an upscale living style when switched off. However, as soon as it is switched on, the soft, indirectly emitted light not only accentuates the surroundings, but also sets the slightly conically shaped base in scene. The shade is made of lacquered aluminium and can be rotated so that the look can always be changed. Night Owl™ was created by Nicholai Wiig Hansen, who was already artistically influenced in his childhood by his mother, who was a ceramist, and his father, the well-known painter and sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen. Nicholai Wiig Hansen opened his own design studio at the age of 26, where he devoted himself to very different tasks. However, his special interest is light, as light and darkness are part of every day and the need for functional light is essential. The Night Owl™ table lamp is manufactured by the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN, which has stood for outstanding craftsmanship in decorative design for almost 150 years. The company history is characterized by the products of renowned designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, Verner Panton, August Sandgren, Bodil Kjær, Cecilie Manz, Grethe Mayer.
