FRITZ HANSEN Orient P1 pendant black rose 22 5
Design pendant lamp Orient™ in black with rosewood element This pendant lamp captivates with an aesthetic design that dates back to 1963. The creator of the Orient™ pendant lamp - Jo Hammerborg - created 180 lamps during his long tenure as chief designer (1957-1980) of the Danish company Fog&Mørup, whose design is characterized by his high level of expertise in combining form, function and aesthetics of his designs. Some of these lamps were awarded prizes. In cooperation with the Danish company FRITZ HANSEN, the family of the designer, who died in 1982, relaunched the Orient™ pendant lamp in 2013, after his works were only available in antiquarian form. The pendant luminaire Orient™ presents itself through its timelessly beautiful appearance as a versatile light dispenser and works, for example, hanging over a table as a light source and eye-catcher in equal measure. The Danish manufacturer FRITZ HANSEN was founded in 1872 by the Danish carpenter Fritz Hansen and stands for precise craftsmanship, unique design and premium quality. In the course of the company's history, many renowned architects and furniture designers from all over the world, such as Verner Panton, Arne Jacobsen, Piero Lissoni, Cecilie Manz and Kasper Salto have left their mark on the company's collections.
