Forestier Chanpen M Diamant pendant light white
Hemp pendant lamp Chanpen from the house Forestier Chanpen is the name of the lamp series that designer Anon Pairot developed for the French lamp manufacturer Forestier. Chanpen means full moon and thus says a lot about the shape of the lamp. The lampshade is circular and, when pendulating from the ceiling, it actually looks like a full moon. The special thing about the material of the shade is that it is made of abacá, i.e. special hemp fibres. The fibres of different thicknesses are wrapped around the frame of the umbrella in a diamond pattern reminiscent of the cut of diamonds. Anon Pairot has already worked for well-known companies such as Fendi, Habitat and Grohe, and at Forestier he was able to follow his preference for working with natural and sustainable materials and, with Chanpen, design a lamp made of hemp.
