Forestier Nebulis M pendant light length 82 cm
Suspension lamp Nebulis with a shade of raw silk fibers Nebulis is a series of lamps by French designer Élise Fouin, which she created in collaboration with Sericyne, a French manufacturer of silk fleece. The fleece is created from silk threads that silkworms spin onto the supports on which they are placed. These threads are used to create the naturally produced silk fleece, which is formed into the cloud-like shape layer by layer, creating the airy volume. Like a fragrant lenticularis cloud, the pendant lamp Nebulis floats in the room and enchants with a breathtaking light effect. The light is lively, soft and warm and seems to move. Élise Fouin is a French designer who trained in Paris at the École Boulle. Her designs range from spectacular furnishings to lighting fixtures. The Nebulis collection showcases a skill that is unique in the world, glorifying natural silk, a material that stands out for its resistance, lightness, luminosity and softness. Élise Fouin is always looking for new challenges and says about herself, "In all my creations, I like to alienate the material to invent new principles of construction".
