Effective hanging light GLOBO DI LUCE with a 250 cm suspension system The hanging light GLOBO DI LUCE is the result of the combination of certain materials, surface coatings and the individuality of fine craftsmanship. The highlight is a sphere with a 45 cm diameter, which initially looks like an aluminium body. It is only upon closer inspection that you can see how a silver-coloured effect is created on the surface through a special metallisation process. Underneath lies a handblown glass body. Thus, every individual light is a unique piece. In the bottom section, there is a protruding glass element spread over approximately half of the width of the entire sphere. Behind it is concealed the 150 watt light bulb in the E27 socket, which is directed towards this small opening in a targeted manner. With 100 Ra colour rendering, the halogen lamp is particularly effective in the area immediately below the hanging light, but the light is dispersed further into the room due to the reflection of ambient light. As part of the collection of the Italian manufacturer Fontana Arte, this light is amongst the functional, individually designed creations of Roberto Menghi.
