Cork has been used as a popular material for many years and is considered particularly sustainable because it does not damage the tree itself when harvested. The entire, round, very flat shade is crafted from cork and finished in a natural hue. A black and white textile cable forms the suspension and merges into a discreet round canopy. Due to the nature of the shade, the light beam is emitted downwards over a large area. The open design makes the illuminant to be used directly visible, which is why it is recommended to use decorative filament lamps. Good & Mojo has the majority of their lights handmade by artisans in small, local communities in Vietnam.
