GUBI Cobra designer table lamp black
Flexible adjustable table lamp Cobra - New edition of the classic lamp from 1947 This table lamp is a design of the Swedish designer Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906 - 1999). After her marriage to the musician Billy Grossman she moved to the USA. In her shop on the famous Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles famous artists like Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Joan Fontaine, Gracie Allen and Frank Sinatra came and went. The table lamp not only captivates visually with its design, which is modelled on an impending cobra, but also with its functionality. The arm can be bent flexibly and the head can also be turned 360 degrees. This enables an optimal light alignment that is completely in line with personal requirements. The luminaire head and base are made of powder-coated steel. The base is equipped with the switch; a cast-iron ballast ensures a secure stand. The renowned Danish furniture and lighting manufacturer Gubi has acquired the licence to reissue this design classic and is producing Cobra according to the original designs.
