GUBI Cobra designer wall light black
Pivot and swivel designer wall lamp Cobra In 1947 Greta Magnusson Grossman created the wall lamp Cobra, a light source whose shade design is based on the head of an imminent cobra. After her marriage to the American jazz musician Billy Grossmann, the Swedish-born designer settled in California, where artists like Frank Sinatra, Ingrid Berman and Greta Garbo were among her regular customers. The head, the back of which accommodates the lamp, can be tilted 90° from vertical to horizontal and - thanks to a ball-and-socket joint - rotated through 360°. Thanks to these functions, the direction of the indirect light can be varied and adapted to personal needs. The Danish company Gubi, which has been in existence since 1967 and is known for its high-quality furniture and lamps, produces the classic lamp as a licensed new edition based on the original designs. - with switch on wall bracket Energy efficiency class:A++
