TIG 160 DC has been designed with inverter technology to provide advanced performance in both DC TIG & MMA (arc welding) modes. In TIG mode, Lift start provides an easy & reliable way to create an arc reducing the opportunity to contaminate the electrode vs scratch start. It offers essential parameters usually associated with more advanced machines e.g. adjustable downslope & automatic post gas unlike a simple MMA (arc) welder equipped with a valved torch. The connectors on the front panel allow connection to a professional TIG torch.The TIG 160DC also offers a fully functioning MMA (arc) machine with advanced features including adjustable Hot Start (for easy arc striking), Arc Force (electronic assistance in maintain a strong arc) as well as Anti-Sticking technology preventing electrodes sticking to the workpiece.
