At the top of the light is the solar module, which charges the integrated battery during the day. The solar wall light comes with a switch, which is generally used to control it. The twilight sensor turns the light on as soon as it gets dark. If the battery is charged after installation (charging time around 36 hours), the light turns on automatically when the motion detector picks up a movement.
