Suspension lamp Mela - handmade from fine olive ash wood veneer This hanging lamp is part of the lighting collection of the company Gofurnit, founded in Cologne in 2019, which focuses its creativity on the manual production of lamps made of real wood veneer, always paying attention to the sustainability of the materials used. The packaging of the finished products is also designed to be as ecological as possible and transport distances are kept short. The Mela pendant lamp was created for the opening of the _blaenk store in Cologne's Schildergasse, a store for sustainable lifestyle products. In the shade of Mela, the veneer strips are led away from the body at the side and spiraled diagonally downward, where they are drawn back together in a semicircle facing inward. Looking at the shade from the side, it appears spherical. Real wood product: there may be slight deviations from the images, each lamp is a solitaire. - Protected with UV varnish against fading due to sunlight.
