The pendant lamp Howard belongs to a series of pendant lamps, wall lamps and chandeliers, which were created by the design team Space Copenhagen, founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. The shade of the hanging lamp is made of bone china, the finest porcelain, and is slightly translucent. The design was inspired by the industrial aesthetics of New York. Space Copenhagen emphasizes functionality suitable for everyday use in its designs and creates sculptural silhouettes in its works with organic materials.
