Good with an aperture ring - height adjustable If it didn’t originate from Ingo Maurer’s collection, which designer could have designed this minimalist pendant light Johnny B. Good? Johnny B. Good is a designer light which only needs a simple traditional light bulb, furnished with a satin-finished aperture ring, to attract attention. As early as 15 years ago Ingo Maurer recognised the idea of placing the light bulb itself in the centre - which is now popular in modern lighting concepts and is right on trend - as a promising trick and made it the distinctive feature of his lighting designs. Thus, the pendant light Johnny B. Good is revealed as a minimalist light source which honours the aesthetics of the traditional light bulb. The light bulb, which is produced specially for Ingo Maurer GmbH, is connected to the canopy via a 420 cm long cable. The height of the cable can be selected to avoid a glare effect. The aperture ring made of polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE for short, serves to reduce the glare of the light source and should be at eye height. The height of Johnny B. Good can be adjusted by making the cable loop bigger or smaller. The use of an external dimmer is recommended, so that you can adjust the brightness of the light to your individual requirements.
