I Ricchi Poveri Toto designer table lamp black
Table lamp I Ricchi Poveri Toto by Ingo Maurer This designer table lamp is not characterised by an everyday appearance. It consists of a rectangular base, a very delicate metal rod, a low-voltage halogen light bulb and - last but not least - an ear flap made of brass. This is certainly the primary eye-catching feature of I Ricchi Poveri Toto, which soon evokes a few associations and, of course, looks very amusing. A special light bulb with an E27 base, which is only suitable for certain I Ricchi Poveri lights, is included, as well as a spare light bulb. (The light bulbs are an exception according to EU Regulation 244/2009). Ingo Maurer (born in 1932) is a devotee of the traditional light bulb. This is illustrated by some of his creations: for example the table lamps Bulb or Birdie’s Busch. The trained typesetter and graphic artist started his career as a light designer with Bulb. His works have been presented with a number of awards - including the Design Award of the City of Munich, the Collab Design Excellence Award of the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the Design Award of the Federal Republic of German. Together with his team, he designs unique lights to the highest possible technical standard in his company, Ingo Maurer GmbH. He also realises lighting projects in the public sector, for example the redesign of Munich’s U-Bahn station “Münchner Freiheit”. Energy efficiency class:C
