Ingo Maurer Grand John hanging light
Puristic hanging luminaire Grand John with striking glass bulb The hanging lamp Grand John is refined and chic at the same time. Grand John has a particularly large glass bulb that surrounds the light source. The glass bulb is surrounded by a white, heat-resistant glare ring which allows the light to flow freely, but without glare, through the room. The bulb sits on a golden socket, which is attached via a black cylinder with a height-adjustable cable. The pendant light Grand John is versatile, whether as a single piece or in a group, gladly combined with other lights from this series. In addition to the installation in the private area, for example above the dining table, it is also perfect as a light source in a cafeteria, bar or entrance hall with high ceiling. Grand John is based on the well-known luminaire Johnny B. Good with glass socket, which was designed by Ingo Maurer and Bernhard Dessecker in 2002. This series of lamps has a minimalist and unusual design that represents the shape of the light bulb.
