Inspired by the works of the Japanese-American artist Isamu Noguchi, Ingo Maurer and Dagmar Mombach designed the lamp collection "The MaMo Nouchies" in 1998 - a play on words made up of the three names Maurer, Mombach and Noguchi. At that time Isamu Noguchi designed handmade table, floor and ceiling lamps made of shoji paper - the Akari Light Sculptures. Maurer and Mombach also published a collection of organic-looking lamps made of elaborately processed paper. These are created in numerous handcrafted steps in the manufactory in Munich. By folding and drawing the thin paper is brought into its desired shape. Samurai is delivered including cord transformer with slider for brightness control. Energy efficiency class:A+
