Candeo Air therapy and pendant light with LEDs In collaboration with the Finnish design luminaire manufacturer Innolux, designer Katriina Nuutinen has created a pendant luminaire with LEDs that can be used both as general lighting and as a therapy luminaire. When there is little daylight in the winter months, such therapy lights can alleviate seasonal depression. The shade of the pendant luminaire is made of aluminium, the diffusor screen, which dims the light emission, is made of acrylic. What makes the luminaire so special is its inner life. There are two different LED light sources for different purposes. One light source is warm white and intended for general lighting, the other is universal white and much more light intensive, which is why it is responsible for light therapy. Switching between the two light sources is possible with a small switch on the screen. Another practical feature is that you can vary the suspension of the lamp directly on the cable. Light therapy requires that you regularly expose yourself to a certain light intensity, which imitates daylight if possible. With the Candeo Air pendant light, for example, you can use the mealtimes or reading the newspaper at the dining table to literally "fill up on light". Energy efficiency class:A+
