Innolux Kuplat 400 pendant light 40 cm purple
Kuplat retro pendant luminaire from 1959 How timeless a design is, is particularly noticeable when the product is still in production many decades after its initial release. This is the case with the Kuplat pendant lamp by the Finnish designer Yki Nummi (1925-1984). He developed Kuplat in 1959 and today the lamp is produced and sold by the Finnish lighting manufacturer Innolux. Innolux combines lights from two centuries: on the one hand design classics from the 1950s and 1960s, on the other hand products from contemporary designers. The lamps all have one thing in common: they represent Scandinavian design. Kuplat, Finnish for "bubble", consists of two acrylic screens, the inner one always being white and the outer one transparent. The white shade takes on the role of a diffuser, creating gently scattered light. Energy efficiency class:A++
