Innolux Kuplat 480 hanging lamp 48 cm smoky grey
From the year 1959: retro pendant lamp Kuplat - Finnish design The timelessness of a design concept is revealed when the resulting product is still being produced and sold many decades after the initial idea. The hanging lamp Kuplat is one such example. The Finn Yki Nummi (1925-1984) designed the lamp in 1959. Today it is still being produced or is being produced again - by the Finnish lighting manufacturer Innolux. The hanging lamp consists of two acrylic shades of different sizes, which are inserted into each other. The inner one is white and thus proves to be an optimal diffuser, which creates a softly scattered light. The manufacturer Innolux combines two types of lamps in its range: those by contemporary Finnish designers and those that can already be called design classics today, namely designs from the 1950s and 1960s. Overall, these lamps represent the spectrum of the Scandinavian design world. Energy efficiency class:A++
