Innolux Kupoli floor lamp grey base
Kupoli - Designer floor lamp from 1960 The design of the floor lamp Kupoli is so timeless that it has already outlasted several decades and still looks as fresh and modern today as it did then. Kupoli is Finnish and means dome in German - a descriptive title for a luminaire whose shade is in fact shaped like a dome. Both the material (acrylic) and the shape of the shade result in a glare-free and cosy looking light image. A large part of the light escapes downwards, but a part also to the sides and upwards, as the acrylic shade is slightly translucent. The designer of Kupoli, Yki Nummi (1925-1984), is one of the designers of Innolux, which is one of the classics. The Finnish manufacturer Innolux produces lamps that date from the 1950s and 1960s as well as lamps by contemporary Finnish designers. Kupoli and Yki Nummi are representatives of Innolux's classic product line. Energy efficiency class:A++
