Ugolini is one of the main designers at Karman, a company based and manufactured in Italy, which creates unique lamps by hand. The floor lamp Cell is reminiscent of the millennia-old Chinese paper lanterns, which rose filigree into the sky when illuminated. Despite its bulbous shape, it is very delicately and gracefully formed from stainless steel rods. The open cage with a shiny bronze finish encloses a cylindrical lampshade made of white linen, which emits the light gently and glare-free into the room.
