Kartell Outdoor Space LED table lamp with battery
Rechargeable Outdoor Space LED table lamp from Kartell Adam Tihany, the designer of the Space table lamp, used Seattle’s well-known observation town the Space Needle, which was built for the World’s Fair in 1962, as a model when designing this light. The Space light looks just as futuristic and modern and consists entirely of different plastics (PMMA and ABS). It is lit up by LEDs, which can be turned on and off by touching the top of the lampshade. The table lamp can be used outside thanks to the IP code IP54. It also comes with batteries and can be recharged. With a full battery, the LEDs can shine for up to eight hours. The Milan design company Kartell is known for its work with plastic, e.g. the K1340 children’s chair or the 4006 light. These are design classics that are still produced and are enjoying great popularity many decades after their creation or have been introduced to design museums. Energy efficiency class:A+
