LE KLINT 107 hanging lamp handmade
A plastic hand-pleated lampshade – the designer hanging light 107 107 is a hanging light from Le Klint, whose tradition goes back to long before the company was founded. The success story began in the 1920s when the architect P. V. Jensen Klint produced lampshade for a paraffin lamp, which he designed and pleated himself. Afterwards, the Klint family worked together on refining this lampshade, which became a traditional gift given to friends and relatives. The 107 lampshade was designed by Esben Klint, and due to its closed form is ideal for use in rooms with a high ceiling, as it does not produce any glare. Today, the lampshade of the hanging light 107 is still symbolic of Le Klint's trademark. The Le Klint company was founded in 1943 in Copenhagen, where the first shop displaying and selling its lights opened in the same year.
