LE KLINT 172 hanging light white brass 44 cm
Suspension lamp 172 with hand folded lampshade and decorative brass suspension The pendant lamp 172 was already designed in 1971 and is considered a true classic of the lighting manufacturer Le Klint. Even after more than 50 years, the pendant lamp enjoys great popularity - a special occasion to refine its already fascinating appearance with an elegant detail: in addition to its sinusoidal structure, the lamp receives a filigree brass suspension for its anniversary, which connects the shade with the braided fabric cable. This detail gives the lamp a noble touch, but does not push itself into the foreground, so that the hand-folded shade remains the main focus of the hanging lamp. The lampshade creates a pleasant warm glow that illuminates the room without glare. With a suitable light source and an external phase dimmer, it is also possible to dim the pendant light. The bulb is not included, the manufacturer recommends LED lamps to avoid heat generation inside the shade. Designer Poul Christiansen has already designed many lamps for the Danish company Le Klint and raised the shade design to a new level when he discovered that folding according to mathematical curves gave the shades an extraordinary sculptural shape. This principle is reflected in the 172 pendant lamp. The folding shades are the trademark of the renowned lighting manufacturer Le Klint, which has been producing lamps by hand since 1943. - please note that a minimum distance of 3 cm must be maintained between the light source and the material of the shade
