LE KLINT Arc designer table lamp handmade
Black oak meets white pleated lampshades: the Le Klint LED Arc table lamp Nanna Neergaard and Marie Hesseldahl are the creators of the Arc series of lights, and with the series of table lamps they have developed a model which, as its name suggests, evokes the impression of an arch. They were inspired by the arches of the Grundvitskirche in Copenhagen. The connection to this church is not entirely accidental, because the architect of the church was P. V. Jensen-Klint, the father of Tage Klint, founder of the lighting company Le Klint. Neergaard and Hesseldahl designed the arc for Le Klint, and also incorporated the traditional pleated lampshade into the traditional Danish company’s creations. As is the case with most Le Klint lights, the lampshade of the Arc table lamp is made of a plastic film that is slightly shiny and translucent. The white plastic lampshade has been combined with a black oak frame to form a rich contrast. Le Klint is a traditional Danish manufacturer, which has been producing designer lights with pleated lampshades since 1943. The lampshades made by the lighting manufacturer are now known around the world and are manufactured by hand. Even the most state-of-the-art machines cannot perform most of the steps involved in this process to the required standard. Energy efficiency class:A++
