LE KLINT Arc designer wall lamp handmade
Arc LED wall light – a designer light which hangs on a hook In Arc, the two designers Nanna Neergaard and Marie Hesseldahl, a.k.a. Manér Studio, have designed a wall lamp which, as its name suggests, mimics the shape of arches. Created for the designer lighting manufacturer Le Klint, Arc also uses the special pleating technology for lampshades which Le Klint is known for around the world. The white translucent lampshade is formed from a plastic film, which contrasts with a black oak frame. The Arc LED wall light is fitted with a cable with a plug, and comes with a wall-mounted switch. The arches of the Grundvitskirche in Copenhagen are what gave the designers the inspiration for the Arc light series. The connection to this church is no accident, because the architect of the church was P. V. Jensen-Klint, the father of Tage Klint, founder of the lighting company Le Klint. Le Klint is a traditional Danish manufacturer, which has been producing designer lights with pleated lampshades since 1943. The lighting manufacturer’s lampshades are now known all over the world, and have been manufactured by hand right since day one. Even state-of-the-art machines cannot carry out this meticulous work to the required standard. Energy efficiency class:A++
