Large area distribution designer pendant luminaire Cylinder Even when switched off, the Cylinder pendant luminaire impresses with its visual presence, which is due on the one hand to the contrast between black and white and on the other to the small folding of the shade. As soon as the lighting is switched on, Cylinder shines in bright light and distributes this evenly in the surroundings. Cylinder provides excellent table lighting, for example, but is equally suitable for general lighting in living rooms and bedrooms. This pendant lamp is part of a series of pendant and table lamps created by the KLINT Design Team, which carry the typical, traditionally hand-folded shade. This folding technique is now only used in Odense (Denmark). LE KLINT was founded in 1943 and is managed by Tage Klint, the son of the architect and engineer P. V. Jesper-Klint. P. V. Jesper-Klint had already created the folded lampshade at the beginning of the 20th century. LE KLINT is known throughout the world for its unique craftsmanship and has been honoured for its products many times and in 2003 was awarded the title of "Supplier to the Royal Danish Court".
