LE KLINT Galaxy pendant light brass
Design pendant lamp Galaxy from DenmarkThe pendant lamps of the Danish manufacturer LE KLINT have a special common feature: they all have hand-folded shades, sometimes made of paper, sometimes of special foil. In the case of the pendant lamp Galaxy, it is a special foil, which can also be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. In addition to the special folding technique, another detail of Galaxy catches the eye: the connector between the shade and the cable, which is made of lacquered brass. The 3 m long cable is textile coated, which gives the lamp an additional noble look. The pendant lamp was designed by Danish architect and designer Poul Christiansen, who gave a new direction to the folded lampshades of LE KLINT, namely round shapes and folds. What was previously folded only in straight lines, Christiansen then folded in elliptical and all sorts of round shapes.
