LE KLINT Megatwo hanging light blue large
Hand pleated: the Megatwo LED hanging light with paper lampshade The special feature of this hanging light is the pleated paper lampshade, which looks like a swinging pleated skirt. This paper lampshade was hand-pleated and moulded by Le Klint, a Danish lighting manufacturer. This technique is only carried out by trained craftsmen who have completed three years of suitable training. The typical Le Klint lampshades are filigree and delicate and should be treated with care, especially if you want to clean them. Since the company was founded in 1943, Le Klint has exclusively manufactured its products in Denmark and has a remarkable and traditional history. The pleated lampshades are now known throughout the world as hallmarks of the Danish manufacturer. It all started at the beginning of the 20th century when the architect P. V. Jensen-Klint designed a lampshade for a paraffin lamp – the first pleating lampshade made by Klint. This lampshade was the beginning of the family business, which however was only founded in 1943 by his son Tage Klint. Energy efficiency class:A+
