LE KLINT Pliverre floor lamp 1 bulb swivellable
Pliverre floor lamp – a designer lamp with swivel light head LE KLINT is a Danish lighting manufacturer which is known worldwide for its paper and plastic pleated lampshades. The young designer Christian Troels has taken this principle to a new level, and has designed the Pliverre family of lights made of pleated glass. The name Pliverre comes from French and means "pleated glass". The Pliverre LED floor lamp has an opal glass lampshade, which suits LE KLINT’s aesthetic principles to perfection, because the light is distorted through the matt glass and yet is fully functional. The 45° angle which the lampshades are cut at makes it possible to light up a wider area. Optically, it looks very elegant. As a contrast to the opal white, the curved frame of the Pliverre floor lamp is made of black steel and is securely placed on a round black steel base. The light head is attached to a swivel rod so that the lights can be oriented individually if desired. A switch to turn the light source on and off is fitted to the black textile cable. The brass details add a warm touch to the otherwise rather cold lighting design. LE KLINT is based in Denmark, and manufactures all its lights locally. The focus is on craftsmanship and tradition, which harmonise together with design and technology. All these aspects are reflected in LE KLINT lights, which makes the manufacturer known worldwide.
