LE KLINT Snowdrop floor lamp black lampshade
Snowdrop – a designer floor lamp with a hand-made lampshade A curved frame made of black metal and a hand-pleated black paper lampshade – this is the Snowdrop designer floor lamp by the designer trio of Harrit, Sørensen and Samson for the Danish lighting manufacturer Le Klint. The traditional company Le Klint, which was founded in Denmark in 1943, has over 75 years of experience in light manufacturing. In the early 1920s, the architect P. V. Jensen Klint laid the foundations for what was to come when he designed and made an lampshade for a paraffin lamp. This lampshade was then developed and refined further by the Klint family, and became a gift traditionally given from the family to friends and relatives. Tage Klint, the creative head of the family, as well as a well-known architect, skilled craftsman and designer, founded the lighting company Le Klint in 1943, which became known for its handmade lampshades. Its first light shop likewise opened in 1943 in Copenhagen, and can still be found at the same address today. As well as the lights with traditional hand-pleated lampshades, which are manufactured in Odense on the island of Funen, Le Klint produces a number of other creations by renowned designers. All the lights have one thing in common: they combine traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods and technology. . Energy efficiency class:A++
