The pleated lampshade serves as a trademark that has been a constant theme throughout the series of light models since the 1940s. These lampshades are produced using a special pleating technique, and are still hand-made in Odense on the Danish island of Funen in the same way as in the company's earliest days. The Danish designer lighting manufacturer Le Klint combines traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods, and places particular emphasis on quality and careful processing.
