Snowdrop designer pendant light with a hand-pleated plastic lampshade The lampshade of the Snowdrop hanging light was pleated manually from white plastic. This pleating technique is the hallmark of the Danish manufacturer, which has been producing its lights in Denmark for 75 years. It has not yet been possible to create a machine which can handle this special pleating technique, meaning that the lampshades are still made by hand by trained craftsmen and women, just as they were when the company was founded. This means that each lampshade is unique. The light was designed by Danish design team Thomas Harrit, Nicolai Sørensen and Kim Samson. The Snowdrop pendant light is a good example of how to combine traditional crafts with a modern touch. Energy efficiency class:A+
