White designer hanging light Swirl 1 with LED bulb, handmade With the name "Swirl", designer Øivind Slaatto has already provided the perfect description for his hanging light with a special lampshade. The elegantly curved rotating lampshade is made of a special white plastic. The lamella-like arrangement of the individual elements creates gaps in the lampshade through which the light can escape unhindered, which not only gives the light a sense of nonchalance but also a special light experience. The lampshades by this manufacturer are all hand-made and so are individual pieces. Swirl was designed and produced in Denmark, and stands for timeless Scandinavian design. Founded in the 1940s by a well-known family of architects in Copenhagen, this designer lighting manufacturer still produces popular designs from the company’s early years today, as well as new lighting creations from several well-known designers.
